Honda enticing new market with Cheap Insight

Honda has recently launched a new value from their Insight hybrid model.


Manufacturer’s suggested price is $18,200 over a delivery of approximately $750 fee. It is a base model designed to attract buyers, possibly on the fence about buying a hybrid. This is a significant difference of Toyota Prius, a price of $22,800 and Fusion hybrid Ford, priced at $28,990.


Hybrid sales are expected to decline for third consecutive year, according to Bloomberg Businessweek, and this can be an effort by Honda América to inject some energy and a new demographic in the gas sector / electric.


This theory got me thinking about my own brush with a purchase of hybrids. Central California Auto show in Fresno in 2008, my wife and I spent a little time sitting in a hybrid Civic blue nice dark debating its merits: economy to a higher fuel price tag.


We were still thinking last year when she and I walked in the showroom of Honda Clawson Fresno intent out of a vehicle.

That day in Clawson Honda showroom was pretty much as expected. We said that the seller our terms, saw what they had in stock and liquidation to settle in a very similar to hundreds of thousands of people in the streets of U.S. Gray Civic.


While my wife negotiated details, which were quite simple, since we have paid in cash, I went and sat on the Honda Insight. You “What could be driving this for a few thousands more,” he said.?
